Terms and Conditions for Aesthetica Medica

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the purchase of services offered by Aesthetica Medica (“I”, “my”). By accessing this website or booking any services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use this website.

3. Services Provided

I provide Semi-Permanent Makeup (SPMU) services, including but not limited to:

  • Eyebrow defining

  • Lip blush

All treatments are subject to consultation, suitability assessment, and client consent.
 

4. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old to book and receive treatment

  • Provide accurate and complete information during consultation

  • Not be pregnant or breastfeeding (unless otherwise approved following consultation)

  • Not be undergoing chemotherapy treatment

You must not have;

  • Epilepsy

  • An active skin infection

  • Severe allergies or a history of anaphylaxis

  • Keloid scaring tendency

  • Uncontrolled diabetes

  • An autoimmune disorder

  • A blood clotting disorder

  • A pacemaker

  • Eczema in the treatment area

 

I reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.
 

5. Medical Disclosure & Consent

You must disclose all relevant medical history, including but not limited to:

  • Skin conditions

  • Allergies

  • Medications

  • Previous cosmetic procedures

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in:

  • Cancellation of treatment without refund

  • Increased risk of adverse outcomes, for which we are not liable

6. Booking and Payments

I accept payment via;

  • Apple pay

  • Google pay

  • Major credit / debit cards

  • Klarna
     

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

7.1 Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7.2 Cancellation by you

  • You must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule

  • Late cancellations or no-shows will result in a charge of 50% of the session price.

  • Late cancellations comes into effect 24 hours before the session start time.

  • No-shows policy comes into effect 15 minutes after the scheduled session start time; if you are late and still show, you may be turned away and 50% of the session price will be charged.

7.3 Cancellation by me

I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to:

  • Illness

  • Emergencies

  • Circumstances beyond my control

In such cases, you will be offered:

  • A rescheduled appointment, or

  • A full refund of any payments made

7.4 Refunds

Due to the nature of cosmetic procedures:

  • Results are subjective and not guaranteed

  • Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction once treatment is completed

However, refunds may be issued where services are not performed with reasonable care and skill.
 

8. Results and Aftercare

  • Results vary depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare compliance

  • You must follow all aftercare instructions provided

  • Failure to follow aftercare guidance may affect results and void any free touch-up eligibility
     

9. Risks and Complications

By booking a treatment, you acknowledge risks including:

  • Allergic reactions

  • Infection

  • Pigment fading or migration

  • Unsatisfactory aesthetic results

You accept these risks and agree that outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
 

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • I shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • My liability is limited to the amount paid for the service

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by negligence

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Any matter which cannot be excluded under UK law
     

11. Hygiene and Safety

I adhere to UK health and safety regulations, including:

  • Use of sterile, single-use equipment where applicable

  • Compliance with local authority licensing requirements

  • Proper sanitation and infection control procedures
     

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (including images, text, logos) is owned by or licensed to me and is protected by UK copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.
 

13. Privacy and Data Protection

I process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

14. Complaints

We aim to respond within 14 days and resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
 

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
 

16. Changes to Terms

I reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website.
 

17. Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and I in relation to your use of the website and services.
 

Important:
You will be required to sign a separate consent form prior to treatment confirming your understanding of the procedure, risks, and aftercare requirements.
